The founding work of Iranian culture and literature, the Book of the Kings of Ferdowsi is a royal epic of war and wisdom, written at the turn of the 10th-11th centuries. It is both a story of the glory of kings from the 3rd to the 7th century, the expression of a chivalrous spirit, and a book of wisdom punctuated with mystical elements. It is a multiple work, unique in universal literature and yet little known in Europe, that this study would like to introduce.
